Doctors guilty of neglect are liable to prosecution. The present crisis is the result of years of willful neglect by the council.

Propaganda

information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view:

dissemination of information—facts, arguments, rumors, half-truths, or lies—to influence public opinion. Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas.

is information that is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.

For example the movie Split is a good example of propaganda that has been used to try to justify the witch hunt against me.

Social Marginalization

Social exclusion, marginalization or social marginalisation is the social disadvantage and relegation to the fringe of society. It is a term used widely in Europe and was first used in France. It is used across disciplines including education, sociology, psychology, politics and economics

Marginalization has been defined as a complex process of relegating specific groups of people to the lower or outer edge of society. It effectively pushes these groups of people to the margin of society economically, politically, culturally and socially following the policy of exclusion.

Marginalized means, literally, pushed to the edges. Most commonly, this term in used to refer to groups in a social context. Basically, it means that those in power are not taking the concerns or needs of that group seriously and that they have been denied any political or other power.

The process whereby something or someone is pushed to the edge of a group and accorded lesser importance. This is predominantly a social phenomenon by which a minority or sub-group is excluded

Marginalization is at the core of exclusion from fulfilling and full social lives at individual, interpersonal and societal levels.

to relegate to an unimportant or powerless position within a society or group.

Paternalism

the policy or practice on the part of people in positions of authority of restricting the freedom and responsibilities of those subordinate to them in the subordinates' supposed best interest.

Paternalism is action that limits a person's or group's liberty or autonomy and is intended to promote their own good. Paternalism can also imply that the behavior is against or regardless of the will of a person, or also that the behavior expresses an attitude of superiority

Passive Aggressive

Other examples of passive-aggressive behavior might include avoiding direct or clear communication, evading problems, fear of intimacy or competition, making excuses, blaming others, obstructionism, playing the victim, feigning compliance with requests, sarcasm, backhanded compliments, and hiding anger.

Instead of getting visibly angry, some people express their hostility in passive-aggressive ways designed to hurt and confuse their target.

Passive-aggressive behaviors are those that involve acting indirectly aggressive rather than directly aggressivePassive-aggressive people regularly exhibit resistance to requests or demands from family and other individuals often by procrastinating, expressing sullenness, or acting stubborn.

Surveillance is the monitoring of behavior, activities, or information for the purpose of influencing, managing or directing.

Oppression [is] the social act of placing severe restrictions on an individual group, or institution.

An attention seeking technique (see for example Münchausen syndrome). A strategy used by alcoholics to elicit constructive criticism, rescue, or enabling behavior from others.

Victim playing (also known as playing the victim, victim card or self-victimization) is the fabrication of victimhood for a variety of reasons such as to justify abuse of others, to manipulate others, a coping strategy or attention seeking.

Guilt Trip

guilt trip is a feeling of guilt or responsibility, especially an unjustified one induced by someone else. Creating a guilt trip in another person may be considered to be psychological manipulation in the form of punishment for a perceived transgression. Guilt trips are also considered to be a form of passive aggression.

A manipulation tactic: making someone feel guilty so that guilt acts as an incentive to think or behave a way they normally wouldn't. Often involves the manipulator acting victimised or making grand gestures to create emotional debt.

In guilt by association, someone decides they do not agree with or accept an argument because he/she doesn't like the person or people who have put forth the argument.

  • A guilt trip is a form of psychological abuse. Some psychologists may call it emotional manipulation. I call it bullying. There are those who are first rate experts at laying guilt trips and know exactly what technique to use to get their own way.

Religious Abuse

Religious abuse is abuse administered under the guise of religion, including harassment or humiliation, which may result in psychological trauma. Religious abuse may also include misuse of religion for selfish, secular, or ideological ends such as the abuse of a clerical position.

One example of religious abuse is manipulating other people in order to convert them to one's religion.  Another example is offering assistance that is conditional upon conversion to a particular religion.

Religious parents may be perceived as abusive because they enforce more rules, a higher set of standards and morals than is the norm, but believe it is necessary to teach there children what God expects of them according to their understanding of the Bible. It is all perspective and true intentions.

a horrible place where everything has gone wrong. Whereas utopia means a perfect paradise, dystopia means exactly the opposite.

The Good Guy Badge

People adopt a "good-guy badge", to use the phrase coined by Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan, to describe the shallow things people do to appear 'good' but which are really based on (often subconscious) selfishness and the desire to feed their own egos with a sense of self-satisfaction

The 5th Amendment is Not New

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

L is for Longevity

This man was still alive at 110 years old.  When I was 18 I read a book that said people should eat garlic, baking soda, honey and apple cider vinegar on a regular basis.

Internet Censorship Sucks

I was recently banned from the Psychopath Free forums for making too many posts in one thread.  I made about three posts.  Is that ridiculous?  The next time there is a psychopath in my life I guess I won't be able to tell because I was kicked out of the goddamn forum.

Craigslist Password Debacle

Craigslist is making its members create passwords that are extremely difficult to remember.  This is quite a bit more difficult than other websites.  What's the deal?
If someone hacks into your computer they can see what you type into the computer.  Thus it does not make any difference how complicated your password is.  This trend to make passwords more and more difficult is pointless.  Keep it simple stupid!

B is for Boycott

It really seems like Hollywood has run out of ideas.  Some of the worst movies I have ever seen have come out since 2014.  A clear sign of filmmaker desperation is repeated sequels or some of these stupid super hero movies.  I am currently 36 years old.  When I was growing up in the 90's there were a lot of good movies and music.  I don't know what happened.  Perhaps boycotting the lousy movies that are out right now will encourage filmmakers to do a better job.  I've seen better film on teeth!

Know Your Rights

(click on the image to enlarge)

Word of the Day

Illegally obtained evidence is evidence acquired by violating a person's constitutional protection against illegal searches and seizures. In the United States, the exclusionary rule is a legal rule, based on constitutional law, saying that evidence collected or analyzed in violation of the defendant's constitutional rights is inadmissible for a criminal prosecution in a court of law.

The exclusionary rule is grounded in the Fourth Amendment and it is intended to protect citizens from illegal searches and seizures.  The exclusionary rule is also designed to provide a remedy and disincentive, which is short of criminal prosecution in response to prosecutors and police who illegally gather evidence in violation of the Fifth Amendment.
