Doctored is a good movie about how chiropractics emerged as a medical field in the United States.  Chiropractics had to withstand a smear campaign by the American Medical Association to discredit and undermine the science.  Chiropractics obviously withstood the test of time.  There are chiropractor's offices all over the place.
